About Dibble's Auto Center
Dibble’s Auto Center in Santa Rosa wants to earn your business. We invite you to learn about us with this introduction to our business, a synopsis of our history, and qualifications to provide excellent, thorough service.
Our facility was founded in 1953 by Al Kremesec, then known as Al Kremesec’s Imperial Auto Body and paint. In 1969, the business was sold to Al’s foreman, John Dibble. Since 1971, it has been known as Dibble’s Collision Works. In May 1995, Todd Bishop purchased the business, and we have been growing ever since.
In June of 2009, Dibble’s Collision Works moved to 965 Santa Rosa Avenue to better serve our customers, and added the name of Dibble’s Auto Center to reflect our auto body repair capabilities for any make or model vehicle, our full mechanical auto repair specializing in German automobiles. Today, Dibble’s Auto Center serves the Santa Rosa region as a complete auto body, and auto repair facility.
Todd Bishop has over 30 years of automotive experience, starting in 1979 at Western Motors an automotive dealership in Petaluma, CA, sweeping floors. In 1981, Todd became an apprentice auto mechanic at Honda of Santa Rosa. Additionally Todd has over 4 years of insurance claims experience (California State Automobile Association). After working for C.S.A.A., Todd went to work for an independent auto body repair shop where he learned collision repair shop management, and then went on to run several successful independent and dealer franchise collision repair shops.
Todd has served as the former vice president and founding member of the Collision Repair Association of California, as well as the former president of California Autobody Association, Redwood Empire Chapter. He has testified on the State Senate floor for consumer rights as well as the California Department of Insurance.
The success of any organization is based upon the quality of its service. It is for this reason that Dibble’s Collision Works has excelled as a professional leader in the automotive collision repair industry since 1953, and why Dibble’s Auto Center will continue to excel as a leader in the automotive repair and service industry for many years to come.
